Rodent problems are not a new thing for people across the world. With time, as industrialization is taking place everywhere, forests are destroyed to a great extent and it is affecting the shelters for the rats. That is why the problems out of rodents are increasing. But by using rat flaps, one can prevent the rats from entering the homes. If you have bought a rat blocker already then you can install it by following these simple steps.

Steps To Install A Rat Flap For Drains

Drains are the most prominent source through which rats can enter the premises. This is because a drain is connected to the drainage, which is again connected to the sewages of a number of flats or premises. As rats can climb easily, by using the pipelines, they can come to the premises without any interruption and become an uninvited member of our family that keeps on making our lives troublesome. So, if the drainage is the only way that can welcome the rats, then you can use rat blockers at the entry point to prevent the rats to come to your home!

With these simple steps, you can install a rat flap to control rats to enter your premises. Let’s move!

Firstly, you need to understand the functioning of the rat flaps by seeing the user manual and the suggestions of the seller.

Secondly, dig deep in the ground to install the rat flap.

Thirdly, Check the chamber for inspection and locate them by a drainage layout.

Fourthly, slightly squeeze the diameter by installing a screw on the thread present in the rat flaps.

Fifthly, now, with the support of the installation pole, complete the insertion of the rat flaps in the entry point of the drains.

Sixthly, once the insertion gets completed, unscrew the installation pole and remove it from the rat blocker.

Seventhly, Use your toilet flush to check whether the flat is working well or not.

If you think the rats enter your premises through the drainage system, then by following these steps, you can conveniently complete the installation process of the rat flaps, you can block the path of the rats.

If you have any other options by which the rats can enter, then you may need to add some more steps to install the blocker to prevent the rats from coming into your home.
